Default R320 rear door warning sound

    Hi
I own a R320 2007 model, and when i operate the electrical rear door a "ding-ding" warning sound comes on. Is it possible to exclude this sound in a fairly simple way? I don't se why the sound is necessary and find it more handy without the sound. Saw a ML320 probably 2010 model that had no sound...
    Kind regards
    Tor-Inge

It depends on the safety law in your country.

    Hi
I can't find any national regulation that says this is mandatory, other cars have no such warning. How do I proceed? any Ideas?
