    Default W211 2005 usa car in europe

    I have recently imported a 2005 usa w211 into switzerland Whats the easiest way to get sat nav working. I have seen the posts about making a hybrid disk with all usa files except maps and copying european maps ontonit. Does this work and presumably its best to upgrade to latest usa firmware first.

    There are 3 options.

    a) Software tricks.

    b) Replace COMAND and Audio gateway or have the Audio gateway recoded.

    c) Install NTG2.5
