Thread: Rear camera for Comand NTG 2.5 on W169

I have two questions:

1) can I use any camera (for example here), and I will be able to fit it to my Comand NTG 2.5, WITHOUT hardware modifications?

2) see above... in one thread I found that you may have to install a reversing module between camera and Comand. Is that correct?

Since the W169 never had a factory reversing camera then you need to have the following.

- Main camera harness for car (such as W164)
- Modulator (for isolation and power)
- Tailgate harness (such as W204)
- camera.

The main problem will be arranging the connectors for the camera.
