    Default W169 Parking sensors

We recently bought an A200 which is fitted with the world's most annoying after-market parking sensors. They beep at all speeds and any time. When passing concrete road barriers at 100kph. Passing a bus in the adjacent lane. Starting the engine in the garage. Everywhere! I tried to cut this thing's throat but even when the connection to the speakers is removed, the box itself seems to have a beeper which I can't get at.

My other car has normal M-B parking sensors which cut out a 10kph and only beep when you're nearly there. Is it possible to retrofit genuine M-B parking sensors to this car and throw out the garbage? Can I pull an original system off a wreck? Does anybody do this sort of thing?

Purchase the correct fuse box connector from spare parts and attach power to the aftermarket system in the same location as the Mercedes system would use.

Then code that parktronic is fitted and the system will cut out at the appropriate speed. Though you may have to use a relay to ensure isolation.
