Thread: Ling system w220178

I am about to fit a ling system in to the w220178 with an 854 phone option.
I have ordered the 203 ling harness and the ling switch/jacket and got a ling ecu.
So now need to wire them in once they arrive (any confirmation on wire colours to wire colours ) would be appreciated.

But the main purpose of the question is the optical cable. Does the 203 440 12 05 cable come with optical cable and plug?
And how do you do the jumper, I see there are two cables, is it one in one out and if so which is which , or ? Or put it another way serial connection or parrarlell.

Final part of the question which I missed is, once I know what optical cable i need where can I get plug/joiners/fibre?

Fibre loom is seperate. You can order short sections of the fibre (loads of different lengths) and joiners from the MB dealer - they should be able to find them in the parts catalogue

It is a ring, not parallel,
