Thread: Help with OEM W211 iPod Interface Retrofit parts

Hello Everybody, Im trying to retrofit a OEM iPod interface but the seller I bought it from never said that he only had the module and that was it
he sold it to me as a kit

I been shopping around and I was able to get the main harness, the only piece I'm missing is the grey relay that comes with the kit, does anybody knows the part number for this relay? or know where I can get it from?

I imagine you are missing the relay (position C) and the fuse, position 5.

Relay is A003 542 02 19
Fuse is N072581 000303

Also there are 2 possible leads from the control unit to the iPod
a) Original, with white plug on the end that doesnt charge the newer iPods
b) Newer version, black iPod plug, see Comand Online Ltd

Thankyou Richard , I do have the old cable with the white connector , is this the one that will charge the iPhone ?

I also saw a module to make it Bluetooth audio streaming is that posible or is that for newer cars?

Is not grey but it should be the same.

I have just order the newer(black) dock connector and the iPod line amplifier from Comand Online Ltd

i wish I would of order everything from there from the beginning
