Thread: W164 NTG2 Green Fakra Video In

Hi

I'm hoping to install a backup camera to a Euro W164. I have NTG2 COMAND, a Green Fakra input, which I have measured the impedance at 75Ohm. So I'm hoping this HU has the video input circuit.

Am I correct in thinking the only way I can be sure if this HU will work is to get it reprogrammed with STAR diagnosis to switch to video in when reverse is activated?

Yes you are correct but make sure you use the very small Mercedes reversing module for electrical isolation.
