Thread: Question on comand APS

Can I change the Europe map to Asia map on a UK Benz's Comand APS without change the whole unit ? If possible, where can I find the instructions to do so and where can I purchase the Asia map ? ComandOnline website only have Europe maps. Thank you.

And for which countries are you interested in. (The answer for Hong Kong is different to that for Singapore in some vehicles)

Thanks for the prompt reply. It is for E250 W212. The car will be used in Singapore.

If it has NTG4 then you can just buy the map disk , and have dealer disable the existing map so new one will load.

If its NTG4.5 it needs Mercedes to licence it and that is difficult
