Thread: Audio 20 to Command ntg 2.5

I recently upgrated my audio 20 on my 2006 A class to a Command NTG 2.5, before i had an ipod kit mounted on the audio 20 and the radio signal was fine. After upgrating to the command the radio signal disapeared and the ipod kit wouldn't work. I know there are things to be done to eventualy make it work and i was wondering if anyone could guide my into it.

Also the telephone fonction on the command (microphone) wouldn't work, the bluetooth is working fine and i can hear people when i use the handsfree, but theys can't hear me.

I really would appreciate some help and even if i could find a garage to fix this would be great, I can also do the job myself if no programation involved.

You need to go back a few steps.

a) Old ipod kit needs new pin connections on the new head unit.

b) Old phone system is not part of this setup. You need to move the microphone cable from the floor the navigation.

c) You need a radio signal adaptor. Takes the black and mustard into a double white connection. Or if necessary it takes a single cable into a double white.

d) You must connect one wire in the back of the main harness into the 12V line so that you have radio amp power. There is power out on the NTG 2.5 or you can use the 12V AUX power.
