Thread: B class 200 service indicator

I forgot to cancel the service indicator when it was due 32 days ago, now the normal method will not let me. Can it only be done with a diagnostic link when it is this long overdue ? or does someone know how to cancel it late ?

By default the Diagnostic can always do the reset.

Hi,

you can still do the reset as normal.

Remember the key should be in Pos1 not Ignition on...

Thank you for your reply, but I still cannot get any further than the service indicator ie the spanner and how many days I am overdue. I am using the Autodata instructions for resetting the service interval indicator. Perhaps you have a better one ? is there any chance you could send it to me ?......Pete

Open STAR TekInfo
Click on MB Workshop Resources
Click on Reset service indicator

Thank you again. I have been into STAR Tekinfo but there is nothing for Reset service indicator for model 245 so I tried ones with similar dash & steering wheel layout but nothing allows me through because the service indicator shows an overdue period. How do I over-ride this ?
