    Unhappy weird leak under car

Shortly after purchasing my 1989 300CE last December, I had 3 leaks repaired--oil and transmission pans and power steering. Since then, my car has been back to the European car specialist 3 times for the same or similar issue. Each time they replaced either the oil pan or its gasket, even though I told them that the stains I wiped up from my garage floor were more pink than oil colored. The stains appeared in the general area where the 2 pans are located. A few days after the last time they installed a new gasket, fresh pink-colored stains appeared in the same area, although one small stain could have been oil. I am now keeping a large cardboard under the car, and I notice that the leak seems to be getting worse in spite of the gasket and/or pan replacements. I realize that power-steering fluid is approximately the same color as ATF, but the leak is where the transmission is located, behind the engine.

It doesnt sound like a gasket - it sounds like a seal. Seals retain liquids against moving parts.

I would say that either a hose, a hose join or a rotating part is leaking.
