Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, and have a few questions....but first I thought I'd just say hello...

So to my questions...I recently bought a 51 plate CLK 230 Avantgarde Komp with Comand fitted.However, first of all the CD reader in the unit isn't reading the discs so therefore the Sat-Nav won't work. I've tried one of the cleaner discs but that made no difference whatsoever. There was no handbook with the car so I'm at a bit of a loss really, and the guys at Comand were no help either. Also there's a 6 disc changer fitted in the boot, this works when it feels like it, or so it seems. Sometimes it works just fine, then half an hour later I can get an error message telling me there's no CD changer fitted.The other extremely annoying thing is that whilst driving there occasionally pops an error message up on the Comand screen telling me to switch on the ignition or else the unit will shut down in three minutes. Obviously as I'm driving the ignition is on, but the unit still shuts down in three minutes!

The other annoyance is the wind screen washers, these too have a mind of their own, yesterday they were fine, today....nothing! This happened a couple of weeks back too, and they started working again of their own accord.It's so frustrating.

I love my car, it looks stunning, but these bits and pieces are really detracting from the pleasure of the whole Mercedes experience.

Can anyone help...please?...
