    Default W203 Fuel Level Sensor

Hello, I have recently replaced the fuel level sensor on my UK w203 2003 c180
The sensor/mounting plate is fitted to fuel tank under the back seat directly behind the passenger seat (RHD) part number A2034701641
I renewed this after a bad fuel leak from the electrical plug connection.
I would now like to renew the male plug and associated harness/cabling.
I have trouble locating the part number can anyone help?
    Regards
    Joe

If it works dont touch it. However the part number is on the connector itself. I know this because I changed mine from the 4 pin version to the 5 pin when I moved over to the MAPS format signal.

I will look on plug, thanks.
When I had fuel leak from this place I removed plug (in panic) and think I broke securing tab (plug locks into place?)
I have had occasional problems with car not starting and pushing/pulling this plug seems to solve.

    Thanks for your help.

The part number on plug/connector is A2115451128
and I have discovered the housing part number is A0001530842
Do I need the pins to connect to cable ends?...if so any idea of part numbers?
    (I have 5 cables)

You may find that the pins are not easy to remove. I would recommend that carefully study the old connector before you disable your cars fuel pump power.

There are 3 things about this connector which are important.

    a) Clip holding the housing in place.

    b) Retainer which stops the pins from coming out.

    b) Rubber seals on the individual wires need to seated.

Ideally you may consider doing this in a workshop for the reason that mechanics often have the tool for dismantling the connector.

    Thanks,
    I understand your point.
The original connector must have worked loose and actually burned a hole in the top of the level sensor.
This caused a fuel leak when car was filled up.
The car still worked perfectly but I could smell petrol and noticed dripping fuel from filter area. On inspection I discovered the hole, and petrol flooding through the electrical connector.
As I mentioned I replaced the sensor and noticed the locking tab broken on connector.
If I hit speed bumps hard it causes the car to fail to start next time or until I jiggle the connection.
I will study the connector as you suggest before attempting the replacement.
I have noticed mercedes do repair cables for this job (various dia)I will research the part numbers.
Thank you for all your help.

You dont need repair cables. You just need the new outer housing.
