Thread: Comand 2.0 MOPF TV screen size

Hi,

I have a 2003 16:9 Comand 2.0 (MOPF) unit installed in my CL500, it originally had the Comand 2.5 unit. The TV picture is only displayed in 4:3 and not 16:9, can Comand be configured to enable the TV picture to be shown in 16:9?

I am planning to ditch the the Mercedes analogue TV unit and replace it with one of the "picture-in-motion" devices and then use the video/audio input for an Alpine NVE N099P sat nav device. I don't know if these "picture-in-motion" boxes allow a full 16:9 picture though??

There is a specific part number for 16:9 tuners.
