Thread: 03 SL nav show no sat

I have an 03 SL, the nav unit now shows no sats. How do I figure out what is wrong. The nav display shows map and the position of the car is somewhere far away.

Most likely the GPS antenna has died. Possibly the GPS received in the COMAND has broken.

GPS antenna is top of the front windscreen and relatively easy to replace - your local dealer can supply a new one, or talk to sales@comandonline.co.uk ...

thanks for the answer.. is it common for GPS ant to die? There is no error recorded related to NAV unit in the diag screen. I will see if I can replace the ant and see if this fix the problem. Are there any direction available in removing the cover to the ant?
