    Question Exhaust-Catalyzer Replacement??

Living in Rome it's almost time to lower the roof of my 2003 CLK 320 Cabrio for the forthcoming months..
Last year at the end of the sunny season I spent the best part of 3 days removing from the interior kg's of fine black exhaust particles(beige interior!!)
I'd fitted at the onset of summer a MB rear wind break which was constanley in the upright position.

Are these particles symtoms of a dead exhaust-catalyzer or symtamatic of the design of the CLK Cabrio.

My wifes MX5 doesn't have these problems.

    Best regards to all Gurus

    Malcolm.

I think it is a design problem. The same happens to all CLK Cabrio.
