Default Retrofit 2008 ML steering wheel and door mirrors

    Hi,

i'm planning to retrofit my steering wheel and folding mirrors for 2008 W164 ML350.
have some concerns on the compatibility issues

    1. can I use either 2009/2010 ML350 or ML63 AMG version of steering wheel with airbag (change the full set)? and if either of them fits, do I need to do anything (like coding) to make the buttons on the wheel work?

    2. If i get those with Voice control buttons, do i need any extra module / control in order to use Linguatronic functions in my NTG2.5?

    3. 2008 pre-facelift folding mirrors are really way too small and are the 2009/2010 facelift mirrors compatible? for safety i'd like to get these replaced too.

    greatly appreciate your help!!

You need to ask the parts specialist what the latest is for your car and then find a chassis number in the showroom with the newer mirrors to check if the door controllers are different.

As a rule, parts advisors wont give part numbers without a chassis number.
