im a new MB owner, bought a 2001 CLK AMG. in the last 3 weeks i have decided to upgrade the sound system in the car. i am a DIY kind of person, but im having problem gathering the information needed to install an aftermarket head unit. is ther a Wire harness or do i need to splice ( ad if needed is there any instruction that will help.) just want to replace the head unit first then i will see if i need to do an overhaul of the whole audio system.

What head unit do you have in there ? Does your car have BOSE sound system ?

i dont think it is a BOSS ( the car is in the Shop the dealer is fixing a leak in the engine), but assuming it is what do i need to do and if not same question stand. i know it has a tape and a 6 disc changer in the trunk. im picking it up tomorrow.
