Default Idiots guide

I have a 2003 CLK 209 COUPE which has a problem with the glovebox catch. To enable me to see the catch properly I would like to remove the door. Idiots guide please for removal of glovebox door.
Also how do I change the bulbs in the high level brake light located on boot edge.
Many Thanks.

Hi

Remove the panel at the end of the dash board, and the one underneath the glovebox above passenger feet - that probably gets you enough access to the mechanism. Don't take the door off, getting the damper reconnected is difficult.

High level brake light - pretty sure MB just sell a whole new unit, you have to take off the boot lid liner to access the bolts holding it in. (I have only changed this on a SL as it happens)
