iPhone OS 4.0 Upgrade Kills Phone Book Display
This for sure on my '07 GL with COMAND and haven't checked for sure on '06 R171 SLK with Audio 20.
Here's what it now looks like (I'm using Mercedes cradle for 3Gs) There is no "right-left" scrolling to anything other than "Others" possible. Is there a solution?

It happens at times with Apple. I had problems keeping a phone call open for more than 30 seconds. Then a fix came and it was ok.

We've now done a bunch of tests .. (these are the Euro bluetooth cradles)
HFP-type-1: B67875877 HFP-type-2: B67876168 iPhone 3G(s) cradle: A204 820 39 51 iPhone 3GS with iOS4 HFP-type1: OK HFP-type2: OK iPhone 3G(s) cradle: Phone book garbled (no names and some random numbers) iPhone 4 with iOS4 HFP-type1: OK HFP-type2: no Phone book download iPhone 3G(s) cradle: Phone book garbled (no names and some random numbers) I suspect it will get fixed with iOS release 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 - not sure why the iPhone 4 behaves differently to iPhone 3GS with the type 2 HFP. Last time this happened (2.1 from memory) it was fixed in 2.1.2. Richard
