my Visse0 1000, in W211 2004, picks upour phones ok but goes off line and needs a manual input to pick up the phone i.e. transfer phone book. My phone is N6230. Is this a glitch in the software. It worked fine when you installed it for me, but needs us to hold the second down button to get it to pick up the phone.

The 6230 is very old now, and there are lots of issues with it's bluetooth - I suspect you are falling over one of those and the best solution is to get a newer phone ..

a) Try turning phone off and on
b) Inspect the address book on the phone carefully to make sure there are no non alpha numeric characters in the phone book and nothing very long
