Thread: EPC & WIS 03/2010 mercedes

would anyone halp me with this
i have install the 03 epc & wis but when i key in
my vin number it won't show the data card

Your vin should start WDD rather than W

I can find the 2nd one in online EPC (European) and in TIPS, but not the 1st one. 2nd one shows up as a Hong Kong car.

However, assuming you did type in your VIN correctly, when you install EPC it looks at your licence key to determine which region's datacards are installed - and it may be that the datacards for the region are not on your installation. Certainly if you can't see the 2nd one this is likely.

The best people to talk to about how Star/EPC/etc can be properly installed seem to be Mercedes WIS & DAS install guides

You need to change the permissions from FULL ACCESS to RESTRICTED ACCESS and magically the EPC datacard works again.

i have put all to full autorise but i still can't see the data card

Benzmodz says to use Restricted Access ..
