does anyone know how to remove the gear knob from my 1999 c class automatic please?

Hi

Pull up the gaiter around the gear knob.

Under the gaiter, holding the knob onto the silver gear stick you will see a knurled nut that rotates about half a turn (clockwise from memory)

Once that is released, gear knob should pull off
