Thread: no left channel 03 CL55 Bose sound system

Just noticed and then did a more complete check today and found that the Drivers Side Channel is not working, on FM as well as CD. All the speakers are dead. One other occurance is that rarely the radio will turn off completely at random. Must restart the car to turn on the radio. the power on and off button had no effect prior to the restart. An suggestions? thanks for your help.;. rob

Sounds like you have a fault on the Bose Amplifier. I would check the connections on the amp especially the fibre as the complete shutdown could be because of a break in the fibre loop.
