Thumbs down Is there a risk of window pop-out?

I have a 2009 SLK 350 and live in an area where passenger compartment temp. can get very hot when parked in sunshine.

Should I leave a crack open in the back windows to protect against hot air expanding and popping a window?

Does M-B have some provision for pressure equalization through the filtration system to prevent pop out?

There's pressure equalisation through two vents, one on each side, in the boot. They vent into the space between the bumper and the car.

Useful also when shutting the doors - the door seals are good enough that the doors would be very hard to shut without some way of air escaping from the cabin

The air intake through the air conditioning system is not a strong seal. It is only filtered.
