Thread: Parktronic W211 saloon

Hi Gurus,

My parktronic system has developed an intermittent fault. Occasionally, the system comes up with the red lights only and the warning beep. Sometimes this persists and sometimes it stops by itself. The rest of the time it works as advertised.... I tried wiping the sensors clean but then ran out of ideas....

Faulty sensor? wiring snag? Control box?

Faulty sensor ..

But you need Star diagnosis (i.e Mercedes dealer or good independent) to find out which one, no point in guessing

Sounds like one of those EUROPE style number plates interfering with the front sensor near the plate.
