Default Tow bar wiring [W169 A class]

I am about to embark on wiring a tow bar up on a B class with CAN bus wiring (08 model). I am going to be using a bypass relay type unit. This one:

I am sure it will be fairly straight forward once I can get to the back of the light units but was wondering if I can get a heads up on any of this. Have you fitted one before? What would be great is any information such as the following:
Wiring diagram for the rear lights.
How to run a live feed to power it. Do I go to the battery or is there somewhere on the fuse box or even a tapping in the rear loom somewhere.
How do you remove the trim to get to the rear lights and the run to the front for the power supply.
Any info would be a help.
Thanks.

What you may find to be useful is to purchase a towing kit from Mercedes which comes with the electronics and wiring.

There is no simple way to adjust a standard towing kit to the eletronics of the car. The fuse box is way up front.

The other problem is that you may also need to adjust the radiator size, lower rear bumper trim and option coding specific for this task.

There are some braking adjustments possible if you look at the option code 034 (increased payload) or the 200 Turbo braking solution with larger disks and different calipers.

If it was just that easy then it wouldnt be a Mercedes.
