Default Engine Oil Level Measurement

Hello,
i have a W209 CLK200 Kompressor (271.940) MY2006 which has a normal dipstick!
Recently i have activated the option of the digital oil level measurement in my cluster but my car apparently has no sensors!

Which parts are needed so that i can make it work?

I suppose a new oil pan?
Harness?
and for sure an oil change so that the new oil pan can be fitted...

Thanks once again!

A004 153 74 28 oil level sender to engine 30653253
A001 153 05 32 oil level sender from engine 30631924 (MY06 onward)

Bolt N000000 001116

And yes, its bolted into the botom of the sump

There seems to be only 1 engine harness for MY06 onward - and there doesnt seem to be seperate sumps for cars with or without the oil sender

So I would suspect that the wiring may be there already, or possibly something else needs coding ? I dont know where the oil level sender connects to (what control unit) but it does not connect directly to the cluster so something else may need coding.

A0061533028 has replaced A0041537428!

So as far as i can see, both sensors are needed but A001 153 05 32 is already installed in the car so that you can get a notice from IC when oil level is too low but not a measurement of oil in liters in cluster!

With the cars VIN in EPC the oil sender is indicated with option 806, which i guess means that i did make a mistake and the car is a MY2005!

Does this mean that i will have to change the whole harness in order to make it work, or is there any possibility that the extra sensor is connected in the same harness that the already installed sensor is pluged in?

I would opt for a wiring diagram. It requires less effort.

The new sensor has a 3 slots plug with 3 pins in there! So def and new plug and wiring!
Have to see the diagram but if you can help would be much appreciated!

Today i got my hands on a motor wiring with the correct plug for the oil sensor!
Can i just swap the wiring harness with this old one so that i can get the sensor to work or should i go on with taking the sensors wires on mine in case i have issues with the old wiring on other parts of my motor?

As i can see the plug for the oil level sensor has 3 wires, blue/grey - black/white - red/yellow

Blue/grey goes straight in the motors big plug
Black/white splits into 3 wires going to 3 other plugs (MAP,Coolant temp sensor and one more)
Red/yellow splits into more than 3 as i have noticed!

Seems too complicated for me!
Waiting to hear for your suggestions!

New motor wiring harness would cost about 200E here from a friend of mine and if it is ok to go on with that i would really prefer it against "playing" with a mix of them!

You still need version coding in the cluster and engine controller.
