Hello Guru’s,
I have a late 2004 MB E270 CDi Avantgarde W211 When I start the car and drive in the morning the vehicle drives fine with no faults registering on the dashboard display. But if I stop somewhere and then start the car again the car wobbles as its being driven and registers a fault (ESP Defective) on the dashboard display... The same thing repeats itself ever morning. Is there anyway to rectify this fault easily or will it require a work shop visit? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jem |

It's worth adding that issues with the SBS braking system can occur on these cars and often Mercedes will do a goodwill claim even on cars well out of warranty, so just remember that after you've paid for a good independant (like prestige) to diagnose if it's something expensive asking a MB dealer to see if MB will do a goodwill claim is probably worth trying.
I had 90% of a SBS issue paid for under MB UK goodwill on a 5 year old car earlier in the year. Richard |
