W202 2.5/2.9 Turbodiesel

I wish to convert my OM 605 4 valve turbodiesel 2.5 to 2.9 whilst overhauling my engine but need more info re correct pistons, liners?, crank, rods, oil pump etc. Richard

This is not really a job that is worth doing. The sheer cost of sourcing new pistons etc would be huge!

The fueling and other items will have to be modified too. To me not a worthwhile conversion.

Stick to the 2.5. Its a craking lump.
