Thread: automatic window closing and windows express function

Hi, all.

Anyone can say what's the parameter to change in DAS, in order to disable "automatic window closing". And also what's the Control Unit for it?

I somehow have enable it and lost the express function on windows, tried to reprogram it to no avail

Hi, tks for answering.

I own a W203207 T-Model C200CDi of Nov.2003, with engine 646962. When looking into DAS trying to enable cornering lights (think not possible, front SAM too old), I somehow activated "Windows automatic closing", thus deactivating (?) all windows "Express closing function". Reverted the parameters changed, but to no avail, I keep holding the switches after windows closed, but no programming is possible. The opening express is possible. I think this has hapenned after choosing "Country Finland" when looking for "Netherlands". Now I can't find this parameter again. The problem is I don't understand german when it comes to developper mode...

Never mind, I got it.

I don't know why, it was disabled under EZS (EIS) adaptations

I cant understand what you have done.

Me neither, at least completely...

I'm still learning to warok with DAS (Which implies learning German...)

Perhaps the main problem is that you need it in english.

Is there dev mode in english...?

The last DAS I saw has developer mode mostly in English. (looked at engine management, COMAND NTG2.5 and a few others on a R230 SL). I think the cluster may have been in German, but I have seen a printout from a R230 SL with the cluster developer mode in English.

No idea how to change one that is wrong though.
