Default How do I enable Xenons on 2008 W164 ML

I have retrofitted OEM Xenons on my 2008 ML 350. What do I need to enable other than Xenon = Present?

    Thanks.

In some cars the washer bottle has an extra sensor. You may also be missing the level sensors.

It depends very much on which variation of car you have.

    Thanks BenzModz.

I was told that the HIDs would still work fine but I would not have auto-leveling capability. What info would I need to provide to obtain correct SDS settings to power the HIDs? When I lived in FL, I retrofitted OEMs on my SLK and it was a one for one wire connection. Just had to get it programmed and then poof. These lights have an extra connection for the leveler just above the ballast that's not being used but was told they would still work without that connection after programming.

You can code the ignition switch and system diagnosis for the Xenons and see what goes wrong.

Lights work now...each needed be grounded. However, I think the right headlight is for a right-hand drive ML because the light pattern slants up on the left (into oncoming traffic) and not the right like the other light. Is there an adjustment to fix...I was told that both lights came off a US spec ML.

    Thanks.
