Hi, here in Korea because of a stupid regulation Mercedes Benz Korea has disabled the front LED lights on W212. I understand that the LED's are part of the daytime running lights that works in almost every other country.
Does anyone know if disabling and enabling LED lights is done via Star DAS? I'm wondering if Mercedes Benz Korea disabled the LED lights via Star or if they had cut some wires to disable it. Anyonw familiar with the new W212 LED lights programming via Star please let me know (this should be the case for other models including the latest S-class). Thanks. Chuck |

I would expect they just got disabled in the front sam(s), or possibly in the CGW, at the factory as part of the initial set-up for the car.
Just to confirm, the lights are physically present but never light up ? Richard |

Thanks Richard, That is correct, the LED lights are physically present but never light up. I know the CGW and will check it, but what is the SAM?
