Default Retrofitting folding mirrors to A200 (W169)

I have two A-classes, I want to move the folding mirrors from one to the other.

Looking inside the little panels on the door that come off they both have the same door control modules installed, so I may not have to move those.

I am having problems taking the switch panel out of the drivers door to swap. Is there any easy way of doing this or do I need to take the door card off. If it is a door card removal job does anyone have any tips for doing this. I have removed the two torx screws from the centre of the panel (by the handle) but can't seem to get the damn thing off. I've never worked on a MB before so I'm used to cars that are less sturdily put together.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Geraint

You need a proper wedge to pry out the clips on the perimeter starting from the bottom. Then you also need to remove the pin near the door lock.

OK thanks. The pin on the edge of the door just pulls out right?

The dimple on the head is where the locking pin is. Push in there.
