Question W203 - upper control panel

Hello again - and thanks for this great forum.

After installing Comand on my 2006 W203, I have noticed that a couple of switches on the upper control panel are not working. The lock and unlock buttons are fine, but the buttons for rear headrests, ESP off and Parktronic off are not working. I've removed the panel and checked - there is one cable running to the panel, which comes out from a foam rubber pad. There are two empty sockets but for the life of me I can't find a cable to connect.

Any clues where the missing cables might have gone? (I have removed the whole centre stack including the Comand - can't find anything).

Clear the error codes first. Then try again.

Is there only the one cable, though? Or should I be looking for a second? I have to admit I didn't take note when I dismantled it the first time.

Sorry we went quiet. The amount of cables depend on what options you have. Basic has 1 cable, Heated seats another. Look at the back of the switch pack, you should have cables for every hole that has contact pins in it.

    Default Only one cable

Thanks Richard. It only had the one cable. The thing that was bothering me was that there were several sockets with pins and no matching cables. However, as per Miro's advice all came good once I got the Comand coded and error codes reset.
