Thread: igniton switch

can someone help my 220cdi clasic estate will not switch on when i put in the key it will not turn on its as tho it is gamed

Dead key, or Dead EIS (electronic ignition switch) -

Using the spare key will tell you which..

Either way a trip to Mercedes (key or eis) or a Mercedes specialist indepedant (eis) is needed as they are "Theft Relevant Parts" and have to be supplied via dealer normally.
