    Default Bi-Xenon Retrofitting in a W209

Hello to everybody, i am new around here!

I would like to ask you a few things considering this retrofit!

I have already bought Bi-Xenon headlights (R and L) for an EU model
A headlights switch with the headlights washers button
I have a water tank in front of the engine bay which is the big capacity tank and with heating function
And i have already bought the front metal bar (behind the front bumper) (?) with the holes (mounting points) for the washers
When i complete the whole retrofit a new bumper will be placed, with the proper washer holes !

So i would like to ask you what will be needed for the auto leveling to function and what for the headlights washing system!

Coding will be done for the Headlights but, will it need some further coding for auto leveling and headlights washers to work?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi

You need the auto level sensors and brackets/rods (that bolt onto front and rear suspension) and the control unit and 2 wiring looms (main loom and rear axle loom)

You need to work out whether your Xenon headlights are option 614, 615, 616 or 618 (i.e xenon or bi-xenon and left or right hand traffic). It can be easiest to find a similar age car with the option on it and read the chassis/VIN number visible in front windscreen) then use that when looking up the parts in the EPC parts catalogue. Otherwise remember to pick the right option codes and the correct LHD or RHD wiring looms.

Electrical parts are in EPC section 82.215
Rear axle sensor and brackets in 35.080
Front axle sensor and brackets in 33.035

The zero position needs setting up with Star Diagnosis and this is best done at install time because you have to fiddle with the sensors to get them in roughly the right position as they are a "new" install or they will not zero.

One of the other Guru's on this forum has done this install before, and i'm not sure that he'd want to do it again

There are several things that need to be in place to complete the task.

    You already have this
    -------------------------
    Crash bar
    Bumper with jet covers
    Jets
    Wash bottle
    Switch
    Headlights

You may want to determine if you have these also
    ------------------------------------------------
    Washer jets pump (white)
Existing power connector unused for washer jets
O-ring for washer jet pump (replaces existing cover patch)

    Xenon levelling harness
    Rear level sensor harness
    Xenon levelling control module
Front and rear brackets for level sensor
    2 x level sensor
Special self locking screws found in the same section.

You will need coding for: Xenon, levelling, (washer jet)
You must also perform initial startup on levelling.

It is entirely possible that you will need to dismantle the right rear spring and remove the control arm in order to fit the adaptor plate for the level sensor arm.
