Thread: No turn signals [after charging battery]

Right after I charged battery as it was sat. I got this problem

1. no turn signals
2. windshield wipers do not work (expecting snow tomorrow - great!)
3. fuel filler door does not lock
4. fuel gauge does not register amount of fuel in tank
5. courtesy lights out
6. trunk does not open with key or button on driver door
7. seat adjusters

In the experience of this board, will I be looking at replacing my rear "SAM" unit?

Check the PRE-FUSE first which leads to the SAM.

Looks like you are going to need both front and rear SAM. Did you have the key in the ignition when you changed it ?

A thing to remember is that if you have the key in the ignition when connecting the battery then it will wipe out the rear sam. But since the wipers are on the front SAM that needs looking at too.

As above.

the fromt and rear SAM's may have been fried. Did you jump start the car too?
