    Default W203 Auto Dimming IRV Mirror Wiring

    Hi there
    I hve bought for my fathers w203 a Auto Dimming Inside rear view mirror...but the car itself doesnt have the plug...What do i have to do ( including cutting, welding, etc to make it work...) the car doesnt have phone...so i just need to connect the wires

    PS. the socket for that plug is normally on the Overhead Control Panel (OCP) assuming thats a mirror designed for a W203.

    I have found the Overhead Control Panel (OCP) and connected the mirror and is working perfectly...but i can't remove the old one i have forced the mirror with my hands and with a screw driver, the part of the mirror broke loose, but the part of the top, are still in the car how can i remove that...

    You need to have a large amount of sideways force but very controlled.

    If you push from the drivers side to the passenger side it will become loose. You will need silicon spray to put the new one in.
