Thread: Ml 350 06 Led Tail lights [W164]

I saw your retrofit LED 6.3 description. I have an early 06. I am sure the rear SAMs doesn't know LED Specifically where do I find the rear SAMs and how do I change it. 1 and two What devices are needed to program ? code the vehicle.

This is all done in software with diagnostic system.

And the rear SAM is below the rear fusebox in the compartment on the right in the boot (trunk). Very easy to change, but as Benzmodz says you need to use Star Diagnosis to recode it. If you don't code it properly then things, mainly at the rear of the vehicle, wont work.
