Thread: Tpms retrofit in w220

i got an 02 S280..it didn't come from the factory with the TPMS..Is there any way it can be added?Cause my car dosent have it??

Anything is possible, but its *lots* of work ..

TPMS controller
Wiring
aerials in each wheel arch (although some versions don;t need that, and I can't remember for W220)
Sensors in each wheel
Coding various control units.

You can possibly pick up some of that used, but you should buy new wheel sensors as they have limited battery life..

The frequencies used are different in different countries too.
