    Default Nothing works in OCP

Replaced a blown #9 fuse in my 06'cls55 after my interior lights stopped working. Everything went back to normal.
The same day, when I used the homelink button, I lost everything that has to do with the OCP. Checked the fuses and they're all ok.

So now, besides having no OCP lights, homelink, voice control or sunroof,
: Multifunction display reads - Nav..... audio..... phone.....
Standard display of speed, temp etc. still ok.
: Volume buttons on steering wheel not working and the radio doesn't turn off
when ign. off and door opened.
All the comand buttons and features are working ok.
Had the mirror replaced 6 months ago because of a nonworking homelink.
    Everything was ok till now.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like something is messing up CANbus communications - a proper diagnostic is needed with Star Diagnosis - sorry

Update on my overhead console problem.

Happily, the dealer replaced the OCP at no charge even tho my cpo warranty
had just expired. Homelink, and all lights in the OCP work. Trouble is, the other
    problems still exist.

Another strange thing happens : While travelling along with the audio on, I get the message, " Please start engine. Radio will turn off in 3 minutes. ", which it did.
With the navigation map (which is frozen at my home location) I got the message, " Please turn on ignition ".

The comand thinks the car is off.

Is it common for factory techs to avoid using the star diagnostics ?

On my invoice it states - Electrical system test beyond basic checks of power, ground & rest./ determine condition. Does that mean 'Star Diag.' ?

    Would really appreciate your opinion.

This still looks like a CANbus fault to me - more symptoms of control units not being able to get messages from the CANbus.

They need to do a full diagnostic and work out whats up i'm afraid ..

All dealers behave differently, perhaps use a different one ?

    Cheers

    Problem solved.
Dealer installed a new audio gateway, which didn't fix the problem.

Found that the I-pod wire to the gateway was broken. Everything now works.
