Thread: W203 erratic aircon

2006 W203 C180K built in South Africa. Basic climate control (not the luxury digital version).

In the last few weeks the airconditioner has been erratic. The individual temperature controls have become extremely sensitive, so that even the smallest change in setting (eg from 19 to 20 degrees) will bring either a blast of hot air or gales of freezing air. There doesn't seem to be any intermediate setting any more.

Could this be related to the installation of a Comand a few months back?

Sounds like the AC control unit needs to be reset.

Yes thats the best way. Just ask them to normalise the A/C.
