Hi!
I have after several hours scanning the internet for information about my COMAND-APS NTG2 in my W203, managed to get it to the "Engeneering mode". But I still canīt manage to bring up the 2:nd menu where I hopefully can enable the MP3-option. I followed the following procedure to get it into "Engeneering mode": "On NTG1/NTG2 you can enter the 'Engineering Menu', firstly go to the language menu by pressing SERV key, then the System soft-key, then the Lang. soft key. Now hold down the 'phone-hangup' key, the small key between up and left on the arrow pad, and the Audio key. This should enter Engineering mode." Can you please guide me how to get to the 2:nd menu? My car is a c180 (2007) w203, originally with a Audio10 unit but when I bought it it was a COMAND-APS NTG2 mounted. (see attached image) |

NTG2 Comand APS (i.e Europe, Rest-of-world) can not support MP3, it does not have the decoder chipset (or, I guess, enough CPU to do it)
USA Comand APS (which is MCS-II) is completely different and does do MP3, and so does world-wide NTG1 I have never seen access to any further menu from engineering mode (apart from the NAV+5 menu) on NTG2 Sorry Richard |
