You are a true gent. Cheers for the info and help and I am looking forward to now getting the Comand, loom and trying this out. I have a bar which holds the radio unit in place which I will have to work out how to remove. Assuming I can do that without breaking the unit, it will hopefully be quite straight forward. The whole wood panel removes ! You will need a newer wood trim - look on eBay (use Search4CarParts to help you)
