I have a 2004 pre-facelift S203 with Audio 30 APS and UHI (code 386). I purchased Mercedes BT SAP V2 adapter (A 204 820 05 35).
When trying to pair the adapter with my phone the instrument cluster shows 12 digits of the pairing code, which is supposed to be 16 digits in total. I have not been able to figure out how to read those hiding digits. Is there a way to get the hiding digits visible somehow, or is this adapter incompatible with my system? If the adapter is incompatible, which adapter would work? Or would pairing in another vehicle with different setup provide a work-around for the problem? |

HI, on audio-10 when only 12 digits are displayed you can clear 4 digits using the CLR button to see the last 4 digits.
I dont know if the Audio-30-APS has a CLR button. You can always do the pairing in another Mercedes (pop into dealer and ask) One thing to note is that once the pairing is complete, many phones go into "remote sim mode" and are effectively "disabled" thus you can't use them and have to use the keypad on the stereo. I dont think the Audio-30-APS has a keypad ... The Viseeo MB-2 will also work in a D2B car (like yours) , Comand Online Ltd :: Phone Cradles & Adapters :: ViseeO MB-2 (formerly MBU2000) UHI Bluetooth for Mercedes Benz Richard |

Thanks Richard for a quick reply!
Audio 30 does not have a CLR button or keypad either. I popped by a dealer and they weren't able to help with the issue as they had no car with the correct telephone equipment available. However, I managed to to get into another car and make the pairing in a 2006 S203 with audio 50, and now the cradle works also in my car. SAP V2 takes the control of the phone, but I can use the steering wheel controls to scroll through and dial contacts stored in the SIM card. |
