Thread: Calibrating backup camera on W203

I Richard , as you know I have a NTG2.5 fitted on my w203 and have installed a non Mecedes camera, If I'm right you told me one day that the camera can be calibrated and superimpose the grid on the display.
I have tryed today and I belive the only car wich give this option in DAS is the S class.
But it wont alowed me because it is not detecting MB camera module.
Can you clarify this for me.

The NTG2.5 unit (with June 09 onward firmware) can be told to display lines on the display - its not a calibration thing though, it just knows where to display them for ML/GL/R.

I think that Jan 2010 firmware may have lines for more models

Its turned on using Star in developer mode on the COMAND.
