Thread: w204 2008 C Class with UMI - iPod Volume matching

I've recently had UMi fitted to my 2008 C200 CDi Auto Estate at Mercedes Dealer in Belfast, N Ireland.
I had issue with iPod volume much lower than radio. I was given an easy fix, that works very well.
with iPod selected on UMI screen, press "C" +"Rotary knob down" + "Back button" i.e. all 3 controls next to each other of controller. This puts you into Service mode, then system, ipod, volume, and increase as needed, I set it to level 8, and then exit using "C" key.

I am very pleased with the UMI and the inbuilt Nav system, it even tracks in tunnels without satelite pick up, I am assuming using wheel sensors and steering for "ready reckoning". All in all a good buy.
