Default No radio code for 2004 Command2 SL55

    Hi all,

The consumer electronics battery in my 2004 SL55 is lasting less than one day when not trickle charged nightly. I don't have a radio code card and would prefer the roadside assistance battery install compared to the dealer drop off route. Since I am the 2nd owner I would just like to confirm there is no radio code necessary. The dealer and roadside assistance I believe are saying there is no code. Richard also says this in another similar thread for another vehicle. Just want to be sure before the swap out.

    Thanks,

    JJ

I would be more worried about having someone forget to plug in the acid overflow tube.

Yup, no radio code but whatever you do follow Benzmodz's advice and check the acid overflow tube is reconnected

PS, dealer warranties battery for 2-3 years (cant remember which), so I tend to use dealer batteries myself
