Thread: Retrofit heated seats w211

Looking at retrofit heated front seats on my w211 MY2007 220CDi avant with full leather option.Connections under the seats are 12 wires both on seat and harness. Could be 2 for power to seat adjustment, 2? for seat/seatbelt/airbag and therefore 8 which could be for heating etc.-seems wiring is in place.Apart from replacing the control panel(switches can't be added) are there any other parts needed i.e. electronics/control relays etc. and if so where would they normally be installed(are they already there)? Finally would I need star diagnostics.

If your seats do have the heating pads, then all you need is the switch pack (which is "intellignet") and the wiring loom.

You shouldn't need Star Diagnosis either
